The Oregon Humanities Center promotes discussion across disciplines. UO Infographics. Located in the Department of Geography, the Infographics Lab works on a variety of supported projects with faculty, campus offices, and government agencies. Integration of GIS and graphic design tools with cartographic design is a focus of the Lab’s work. More –>

The UO Libraries: Image Services Center preserves materials though microfilming, digitization, and photographic replication. Services include high-quality slide and film scanning, digitization, coordination of large scale digitization projects, training and technical scanning support, and consultation on imaging equipment and best practices. The UO Libraries: Interactive Media Group provides project-based instructional design, web, and multimedia development to support teaching and research. Projects follow a systematic, collaborative, and user-centered design and development process based on learning and research objectives, target audience, task analysis and technical requirements. The Social Science Instructional Labs (SSIL) are PC-based computer labs and classrooms designed to assist faculty, staff and students with innovative instructional technology applications in the social sciences. SSIL also provides the university community with access to statistics software and GIS software. more –>
The Wired Humanities Projects constitute a “consortium” of research projects that utilize and develop digital scholarship in the humanities. WHP projects create digital collections for advancing research and for pedagogical uses, as well as tools that help scholars and educators collaborate and connect regardless of their geographical locations.
